Diamond Valley Preschool is a community preschool established in 2003 (formerly Klitsie-nes). We offer a full academic curriculum in a warm and nurturing 'family-like' environment, helping children build a solid educational foundation. Our classes begin at ages 4 months to 3 years in the toddler section and 3 to 6 years in the pre-school section (including Grade R).

Our classrooms are full of opportunities for learning, socialisation and growth with carefully chosen equipment to inspire our students’ imaginations and encourage their budding independence. We believe that every child is an amazing individual. As a child’s development and learning is complex, we take a holistic view by providing a learning environment that nurtures a child’s physical, social, cognitive, creative and emotional skills, while also encouraging curiosity and imagination.

It is well known in the scientific and educational communities that the young child undergoes extensive brain development before the age of 7 years. Therefore, it is crucial to provide every opportunity to build foundational connections in the brain, on which all future learning will be built.

By exploring educational equipment and participating in various fun and exciting activities, in a friendly and caring atmosphere, each child can realise their full potential and develop a love for learning.
